Allan ‘Zion’ Johnson was born in Kingston in 1930, Died 2001. He didn’t have an easy life but it was never reflected in his art. He did his paintings for the joy, to make people feel good. His richly coloured, highly detailed citiscapes and scenes painted life, sometimes real, sometime imaginary.
